CASE relies on the leadership and insights of our members and key volunteers to ensure that our engagement, education, and outreach initiatives are aligned with the current and emerging needs of the education sector.

Regional Councils and District Leadership

CASE Regional Councils are strategic advisory bodies helping to advance the profession regionally in line with the responsibilities outlined in the Regional Council Charter.

CASE US/Canada Regional Council

The CASE US/Canada Regional Council is newly-created from CASE's new volunteer leadership structure and will focus in an advisory capacity on strategy and member engagement. Previously, the CASE Board of Trustees had dual responsibility for US/Canada affairs and the global management of the association. The Council is composed of volunteers from across the region, including one designated representative from each of the eight District Cabinets.

CASE Europe Regional Council

The CASE Europe Regional Council is formed of up to 19 council members who are responsible for strategy and member engagement across Europe. The council comprises a carefully balanced group of institutional and professional service leaders from Europe and also includes the CASE president and regional executive director as non-voting honorary members. Each council member serves a three-year term of office on the Council, and can serve a maximum of two terms of office.

CASE Asia-Pacific Regional Council

The CASE Asia-Pacific Regional Council identifies professional development needs and builds capacity to support advancement in the region. It is a team of dedicated volunteers from the region, reflecting the breadth of CASE's geographical and institutional constituencies.

CASE Latin America Regional Council

The CASE Latin America Regional Council is CASE's newest regional Council. The council serves in an advisory capacity and focuses on strategy and member engagement throughout the region. The 10 members serving on the Council represent institutions from across Latin America.

District Cabinets

CASE has local districts in the US/Canada and Europe that provide networking, programming, and member engagement activities for members within their region. Each district cabinet is comprised of individuals from member institutions and is overseen by a volunteer chair.

District Cabinets help guide, support and deliver priorities for CASE in line with the responsibilities set out in the District Cabinet Charter.

CASE Commissions

The three commissions—Alumni Relations, Communications and Marketing, and Philanthropy—support the creation and dissemination of knowledge within the advancement disciplines. They also advise CASE on programming and services for professionals within their respective areas of advancement.

CASE Committee for College and University Foundations

The 18-member Committee for College and University Foundations provides leadership and guidance on issues of concern to institutionally related foundations. The committee also supports the development of resources, programs and services for professionals within the foundation community.

Community College Leadership Committee

The 12-member Community College Leadership Committee identifies learning opportunities and professional development needs for community college advancement professionals, identifies trends and best practices to showcase, and builds support for the center.

Industry Advisory Council

The Industry Advisory Council provides advice and counsel on opportunities for CASE to better serve its Educational Partners and other corporate affiliates within the advancement industry.
